Our Team

SE Aquatics is owned and operated by brother-in-laws Steven Roberts and Erik Kichura. What started as a shared goal of building something of our own has grown into a local pool service company dedicated to reliability, honest communication, and quality work. As Jacksonville residents, we take pride in helping our neighbors keep their pools clean and clear.

Co-Owner

Born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, I’ve called Jacksonville home for over half my life. Before starting SE Aquatics, I spent more than eight years building a career in customer service, technical support, and business operations, where I learned the importance of communication, reliability, and doing what you say you’re going to do.

Those same values are what we bring to every pool we service. Whether I’m cleaning a pool, answering a customer’s call, balancing water chemistry, or working behind the scenes to grow the business, my goal is simple: provide the kind of service I’d expect for my own family.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with my wife Cindy, preparing for our growing family, golfing, or cheering on the Jags.

I was born and raised in Jacksonville and graduated from Fletcher High School, so the neighborhoods we serve aren’t just places on a map to me; they’re home. As the son of Slovak immigrant parents with Slovak Ukrainian roots, I was raised to believe that hard work, integrity, and taking pride in your work are non-negotiable.

Those values are what I bring to SE Aquatics every day. I enjoy the hands-on side of the business and take pride in making sure every pool we service is clean, balanced, and ready to enjoy. Whether it’s brushing, vacuuming, testing water chemistry, checking equipment, or helping customers understand what’s going on with their pool, I believe the little details matter.

As a Jacksonville native, I’m proud to help our neighbors and keep our city beautiful; one backyard at a time.
